Danach wiederholen die Forderungen das Muster des ursprünglichen Betrugs: eine Vorauszahlung, bezeichnet als Honorar, Steuer oder Netzwerkgebühr zur Freigabe; die Bitte um die Wiederherstellungsphrase, um die Wallet wiederherzustellen; eine Signatur zum Eigentumsnachweis, die in Wahrheit eine Überweisung freigibt. Unglaubwürdig wird das Angebot aus strukturellen Gründen und nicht deshalb, weil man die Person einschätzen müsste.
