Editorial Policy
How we research, write, review and maintain everything we publish.
This page documents the standards behind Kripzen's content. It applies to every page on the site, in every language.
How content is researched and written
Guides and glossary entries are written by named authors with experience covering crypto markets and exchange infrastructure. We use primary sources — exchange terms, proof-of-reserves attestations, licensing registers, regulator publications — and we test products where possible (small test deposits and withdrawals, checking processing times and support response). AI tools may assist with drafting, but every page is reviewed and edited by a human before publication, and factual claims are verified independently.
Exchange review methodology
Once live, exchange reviews will be scored on a transparent set of criteria, each weighted and assessed the same way for every brand — never on fabricated or estimated figures:
- Custody & safety — proof-of-reserves, custody model (custodial vs non-custodial), cold-storage practices and security track record.
- Licensing & regulation — valid registration or licensing (with verification links) in the markets served.
- Fees — real cost after maker/taker fees and withdrawal charges, not headline figures.
- Coins & liquidity — depth and quality of the trading pairs and order-book liquidity.
- Support & experience — channels, responsiveness, and account/withdrawal experience.
The overall rating will be derived from these criteria, not from commercial terms.
Editorial independence
Kripzen earns affiliate commission when readers sign up with exchanges we link to (see Affiliate Disclosure). Commercial relationships never influence a score, ranking or verdict. An exchange cannot pay to rank higher or to remove criticism. Where a recommended exchange has a weakness, we say so.
Freshness and updates
Time-sensitive content (bonuses, odds, regulation) is reviewed regularly; evergreen content is reviewed periodically. Each page carries an accurate "last updated" date and we never backdate or fake these.
Corrections
We correct errors promptly. If you spot a mistake, contact us via the Contact page and we will review and update the page, noting material corrections where appropriate.
