Token Holder Distribution

Trading & Markets

Token holder distribution shows how supply is spread across addresses, including concentration figures that need context to be read correctly.

Definition

Token holder distribution describes how a token's supply is spread across addresses: how many addresses hold it, what share the largest holders control, and how much sits in contracts, treasuries or exchange wallets. Block explorers publish holder lists and concentration figures for most tokens, so the raw data is public. Reading it takes care. A single exchange address can represent many customers, team and foundation allocations may be split across many wallets, and locked or vesting supply can look like ordinary holdings. Concentration is still a structural fact worth understanding, because a small number of addresses controlling most of the supply changes how governance votes and large transfers play out. The numbers describe structure, not intent.
