Token Listing

A token listing is the decision and process by which an exchange makes an asset tradable, opening one or more markets such as the token against a stablecoin or a major cryptocurrency. Review typically covers the project's contract code, token distribution, legal status in the venues the platform serves, and whether enough liquidity exists to support an orderly market. Listings are usually announced in advance with a schedule for deposits, order placement, and the start of trading, and platforms often widen price limits or restrict order types during the first sessions because early pricing can be volatile and thin. A listing is an operational and commercial decision by a venue; it is not an endorsement or an assessment of an asset's merit.
